RUSSIA: State-owned leasing company GTLK was the sole bidder for a contract to supply 29 trams to the Ulyanovsk Region State Procurement Agency.
The 1·36bn rouble 10-year leasing deal signed on August 22 covers a fleet of PK TS Type 71-911EM Lionet single-ended four-axle 100% low-floor cars.
They are scheduled to be delivered to Ulyanovsk by December 29.
