EUROPE: Trainline has launched Platform One as the new brand name for its technology platform which powers ticket retailing for more than 270 rail and coach companies across 45 countries, including its own retailing channels.
Trainline said the Platform One technology was already hosting around 78 million visits every month across all channels, powering 296 searches/sec. The company employs around 400 engineers, data and tech specialists who work on Platform One and process more than 600 system releases every week.
